About the Role – Senior Sales Executive at dnata
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving dnata’s business-to-business (B2B) growth. You’ll be responsible for promoting, selling, and expanding our services across corporate accounts such as travel agencies, hotels, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) organizers, and event management companies.
Your mission will be to strengthen dnata’s market presence and uphold our brand as a leader in the aviation and travel services industry through strategic planning, customer engagement, and innovative sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan – Develop Strategic Sales Growth

Execute a well-defined B2B sales and marketing strategy to meet both team and individual goals.

Identify new opportunities through market research, industry insights, and dynamic selling techniques.

Conduct presentations and performance reviews with key clients to strengthen partnerships.

Coordinate monthly operational meetings with Customer Relations Officers to evaluate key account performance and feedback.

Analyse market intelligence and identify emerging trends and innovative products to expand dnata’s value proposition.

Market dnata’s comprehensive service catalogue, offering clients access to a complete suite of travel and ground-handling solutions.
2. Lead – Build and Strengthen Relationships

Develop, manage, and leverage customer relationships to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all commercial negotiations, ensuring clear communication and contractual integrity.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Negotiate new and renewal corporate account contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and financial requirements.

Work with operational departments to ensure alignment between commercial agreements and service execution.

Monitor financial exposure, manage payment issues, and ensure effective communication with the Group Finance team.
3. Execute – Deliver Measurable Business Impact

Expand dnata’s reach by targeting diverse market segments including corporate travellers, government agencies, trade communities, and exhibition organizers.

Maintain and update an extensive customer database to enable efficient sales tracking and campaign execution.

Review and analyse monthly sales reports to ensure engagement across dnata’s 600+ corporate accounts in the UAE.

Recommend corrective actions to meet or exceed customer satisfaction and sales performance targets.

Partner with the CRM team to optimise Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) surveys, analyse feedback, and implement improvement strategies.

Ensure CRM (Salesforce) is updated with the latest sales pipelines, contracts, and client interactions.

Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and international standards.

Act as a liaison in safety investigations, working closely with Group Legal and Group Insurance teams.

Uphold dnata’s corporate governance and compliance framework, including credit note management and approval procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in business, management, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of airport operations experience, ideally with a ground-handling or travel organisation.

At least 3 years of sales experience in B2B account management, including contract negotiation and relationship management.

Strong financial management skills and business acumen.

Proven ability to build long-term strategic partnerships with clients.

Analytical skills to interpret data and propose actionable solutions.

Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.

A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
