Job Overview – Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator in Dubai
The Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and executing logistics operations within assigned areas such as Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support, and Spares Distribution. This role is critical in coordinating daily tasks with logistics assistants, ensuring smooth operations, timely deliveries, and adherence to Emirates’ standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, attention to detail, leadership skills, and operational agility in managing aviation logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Execute Daily Operational Activities
Perform daily warehouse operations in designated areas — such as goods receiving, tool handling, material storage, and spares distribution. This includes:

Receiving and verifying aircraft materials and tools.

Reporting discrepancies and managing related documentation.

Archiving airworthiness release certificates and related compliance documents.

Handling check-in/check-out of tools and coordinating third-party stock activities.
2. Coordinate with Emirates Warehouse Teams
You will coordinate tasks assigned by the Shift Duty Officer, ensuring that all warehouse and logistics activities are completed efficiently. Regular communication with warehouse assistants and Emirates customers is vital to ensure on-time demand fulfillment.
3. Manage Supply Chain Flow
Ensure seamless movement of materials within the Supply Chain, from receiving and binning to delivery and issue. The role requires maintaining high service levels, accuracy in inventory management, and real-time ERP system transactions to reflect operational progress.
4. Enforce Safety and Compliance
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations as per Emirates Group and EWL standards. Ensure all team members strictly follow safety protocols, operational procedures, and warehouse handling regulations to avoid accidents and non-compliance issues.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Support the Shift Duty Officer in preparing daily performance reports, tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and identifying resource optimization opportunities. By monitoring workflow and manpower allocation, you will help enhance operational productivity and resource efficiency.
6. Leadership and Delegation
When required, deputize for the Shift Duty Officer and act as a focal point for assigned warehouses or functional areas. You will be responsible for ensuring operational goals, performance standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs) are met consistently.
Qualifications and Experience Required
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:

Education: Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Engineering, including 1 year in warehouse and logistics coordination, ideally in an Aviation or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment.

Proficiency in office applications and ERP/inventory systems.

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Sound understanding of aviation logistics and material control systems.

Valid UAE driver’s license or Airside Driving Permit (ADP) will be considered an advantage.

Work Schedule and Environment
This position is categorized as a Safety Sensitive Role, which requires strict adherence to Emirates Group safety and operational standards. Depending on business needs, the selected candidate will work either:

12-hour shifts (day/night roster), or
-
8.5-hour general day shifts.
