Job Role: Equipment Operator
The Equipment Operator plays a key role in day-to-day airport ground operations—moving, loading, and offloading baggage, cargo, mail, and other aircraft items. You’ll also help maintain safe working environments around aircraft and ensure all tasks follow strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Safely sort, move, load, and offload baggage, cargo, mail, and hand baggage as required.

Operate Ground Service Equipment (GSE) you are certified and trained to use.

Inspect cargo holds and surrounding areas for abnormalities, damage, or any unidentified items.

Perform basic checks on GSE to ensure the equipment is in proper working condition.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) at all times.

Comply with UAE laws and guidelines from Etihad Airport Services, Etihad Airways, and customer airlines—especially those related to safety, quality, and special cargo handling.

Report any safety hazards, errors, near misses, or unusual incidents using standard reporting channels.

Use handheld devices for operational tasks as required.
Education & Experience Requirements

Must hold a valid UAE driver’s license.

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (airport or logistics preferred).
