Role Overview: Alternate Compliance Officer
As an Alternate Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that Hadi Exchange fully complies with all applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws, regulations, and Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) standards. This role is essential to safeguarding the integrity of our operations and maintaining the trust of our clients and regulatory authorities.
You will act as the second-in-command within our compliance department, assisting the Compliance Officer in implementing, monitoring, and improving our compliance framework. This includes conducting detailed risk assessments, staying updated on regulatory changes, and providing training to staff to ensure compliance awareness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Compliance Management

Monitor and implement compliance policies in line with AML/CFT regulations and CBUAE directives.

Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks across all company operations.

Ensure proper filing of suspicious transaction reports (STRs) and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
2. Risk Assessment & Monitoring

Conduct regular risk-based assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate compliance risks.

Review transactions and business activities to detect unusual or suspicious patterns.
3. Staff Training & Awareness

Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees.

Promote a culture of compliance within the organization.

Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities in adhering to AML/CFT laws.
4. Reporting & Liaison

Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities.

Position Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

ACAMS Certification (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) or an equivalent compliance certification.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar compliance role within any financial institution.

Strong working knowledge of AML/CFT laws, regulatory frameworks, and CBUAE standards.
